Legislation

The Department of Environment is responsible for implementing legislation and government policy, and is itself guided by many acts and regulations. Some acts play a larger role than others, and some are federal legislation which the department enforces within the boundaries of the territory.

Copies of official, printed text versions of any legislation can be obtained for a nominal fee:
